Bangkok is a
great city but what has it got to do for and with families
visiting with kids? Lots is the answer; look what we offer
here and this is just surface scratching as the saying goes.
First off we will recommend the
weekend market at Chatuchak. Why? Well there are more than
200,000 visitors to Chatuchak at the weekend and surely some
are there with kids? OK so we have got that settled. There
are 8000 stalls give or take and most offer bargains so take
your kids and go.
And while were on the
subject of kids, what about Dream World? Well it has been
called the Disneyland of Thailand, nothing less. Want it
all? Dream World has it - and once again I will say a saying
- in spades. From roller coaster rides to jack on the
beanstock climbs its all there and the whole thing has been
designed with families in mind. Kids are planned for too of
course.
And whats with Safari World
is it just for kids? Well no is the answer have you never
seen a tiger in captivity before? I thought not. Well its
just not tigers too. There are deer, bears, giraffes and
lions also just to name a few. And as well you can explore
the underwater life too and see dolphins close up as well as
much other deep sea life.
We can't mention an
underwater world without telling you a bit about the Siam
Ocean World at the Siam Paragon can we? This one is to be
found a couple of stories beaneath the world famous Paragon
Shopping Center so if you want to combine the underwater
world and shopping...here's your place.
The underwater world has
everything you would expect and more.
Wait did you say Zoos are
your thing? Well you can't afford to miss the Samprand
Elephant Ground and Zoo. This is a place for an elephant
show with global appeal. The Suay Tribe folk have been
training elephants for generations so they know what they
are doing eh? Anyhoo there's all kinds of events and
training to see so go on see the Elephant Ground and Zoo.
Ask at whatever Hotel you
are staying in to get prices on the above and what's
included.
